Work Freelance or Work for Boss?

Nowadays more and more people choose to work freelance instead of work for somebody else. It is a shame to work freelance in the old days, people would said that the one who are self-employed is a lazy man, and this kind of job is not security, they fear of instability. However, the conception is changed, work freelance has been widely accepted by public, me included.

現(xiàn)在越來(lái)也多的人選擇做自由職業(yè)者而不是為某人工作了。在以前自由職業(yè)者是令人羞恥的，人們會(huì)說(shuō)這種人很懶，還有這種工作沒(méi)保障，他們害怕不穩(wěn)定。然而，現(xiàn)在觀念改變了，自由職業(yè)者已經(jīng)被廣泛地接受了，包括我。

In the first place, one of the biggest advantages of work freelance is that you are the master of your time. Once you are self-employed, you are able to manage your time by your own wish. You do not have to get up very early in the morning, especially in a cold winter morning, and take a crowded bus in case you will not late for work, which links directly to your salary. For me, I would love to stay home in my pajamas rather than fight through traffic so I can sit in a cubicle all day.

第一，自由職業(yè)的最大優(yōu)勢(shì)就是你是你時(shí)間的主人。一旦你當(dāng)了自己的老板，你就可以按照自己的意愿去管理你的時(shí)間。你不必每天早上早早起床，尤其是在寒冷的冬天早晨，又去擠公車，省的自己遲到，這直接關(guān)系到你的工資。就我來(lái)說(shuō)，我寧愿穿著睡衣在家里也不要艱辛地?cái)D公車然后在辦公室的小格子里悶一天。

In the second place, work freelance is a wonderful gift for an introvert. As you can see, if you are working outside, you can not avoid to working with others. It might be hard to deal with different people in the office. There is one more thing that you can not avoid, which is your social duties, drinking and eating. You can’t say no to this, or you will said bye to your job. As we know, too much food or wine is not good for our body, but as long as the cline feels happy, no one will care too much of their body.

第二，自由職業(yè)是給內(nèi)向的人一份美好的禮物。就像你所見到的，如果你在外面工作，你無(wú)法避免和其他人打交道。在辦公室和不同的人相處會(huì)很難。還有一件事你也無(wú)法避免，那就是交際應(yīng)酬，喝酒吃飯。你不能對(duì)這個(gè)說(shuō)不，不然你就對(duì)你的工作說(shuō)拜拜吧。像我們所知道的，過(guò)量飲食喝酒對(duì)我們的身體不好，但是只要客戶覺(jué)得高興，誰(shuí)管得了那么多身體呢。

To sum up, each type of work style has its own advantages and disadvantages, it is your choice. I think working should be a happy thing, if it isn’t, your life will be a sadly hell.

總而言之，每種工作方式都有自己的優(yōu)勢(shì)和劣勢(shì)，這是你的選擇。我認(rèn)為工作應(yīng)當(dāng)是件快樂(lè)的事情，如果不是，那么你的生活就會(huì)變成一個(gè)可悲的地獄。
