1、投訴信要開門見山寫明來信目的, 即投訴的具體內容, 切忌表達轉彎抹角, 久久不入正題。
2、寫信時, 要注意寫信的對象, 運用得體的語言表達, 并可在句中適當增加to one’s disappointment, unluckily, unfortunately, worse still, to make matters worse等符合投訴信感情色彩的副詞短語,以加強語氣, 使表達更加豐富。例如：What I ordered was a pair of black size-nine shoes but to my disappointment, I received a pair of white, size-8.5 shoes instead. Worse still, there was a ten-day delay in delivering my shoes, which should have been received on April 10.

I am pleased to introduce to you the elective courses of our school. The elective courses are held from 4:00 to 5:00 in the afternoon every Wednesday, lasting a term. Every student can choose two subjects out of 20 according to their own interests, such as the Brief Introduction of Chinese Literature, the Appreciation of Movies, and Calligraphy. There is no homework for the elective courses, but students are encouraged to do a lot of related reading, which provides us with a platform for our development. No exams will be taken and instead students are required to write an essay. I like our selective courses because they are not only interesting and meaningful but also help to broaden my horizons.
