藝術家王小雙巴黎首次個展《Urban Landscapes》將于 2017 年 10 月 16 日在巴黎Diane de Polignac畫廊隆重開幕，持續到 11月 16 日。本次展覽延續了藝術家城市系列的創作脈絡，將展出藝術家最新20件繪畫作品。
王小雙最近幾年將城市帶給他的視覺體驗和壓抑感表現在他的繪畫中，他的作品充溢著對當下城市現狀的關注和對未來城市去往的憂慮。畫面中蕩漾的霧霾和氤氳、蒼白的城市地平線恰恰是當代中國發展過程中城市問題的一個意味深長的圖像隱喻。他一方面批判地針對城市文明發展中文明遺跡的被破壞和傳承斷裂現象，另一方面通過城市別樣的視角來謀求年輕一代對當代生存現狀的發言權。他的作品中標志性的灰色也是他最喜歡的顏色之一，同時也反應出他對這個時代的復雜社會心理狀態，他所感受和他所表達的城市情懷，無疑是對我們如何面對城市現狀和未來的一種警示。

About The Exhibition
Artist Wang Xiaoshuang's first solo exhibition Urban Landscapes in Paris will be held at the Paris Gallery in Diane de Polignac October 16, 2017 and will last until November 16th. This exhibition continues the creative context of the artist city series and will present the artist's latest 20 paintings.
In recent years, Wang Xiaoshuang has brought the city's visual experience and the sense of depression to his paintings. His works are full of concern about the current situation of the city and the worries about the future of the city. The picture in the rippling haze and dense, the pale horizon is precisely the city image metaphor a meaningful process of city development problems in the contemporary Chinese. On the one hand, he criticized the destruction and inheritance of the cultural relics in the development of urban civilization critically; on the other hand, he sought the younger generation's right to speak of the present situation of existence through the different perspectives of the city. Mark his works of grey in his most love color, at the same time also reflect his complex social psychological state of the age, his feelings and his expression of feelings of city, is undoubtedly a warning to us how to face the present and future of the city.
