2. by way of 經由,意在,為了。如:

3. in…way 以……方式。如:

1. I wonder if [whether]… 不知……。如:

注:有時為了使語氣更委婉或更帶試探性, 可用一般過去時或過去進行時(但并不表示過去意義)。如:

He wrote out a check (receipt). 他開出一張支票(收條)。
3. write sb sth / write sth to sb 把某東西寫給某人。如:
Please write me the result. / Please write the result tome. 請把結果寫給我。
He wrote me a long letter. / He wrote a longlettertome. 他給我寫了封長信。
4. write to sb 給某人寫信。如:
